Wedding Options -

Paul can keep all your guests entertained by mixing and mingling whilst the photographs are being taken before the wedding breakfast. This is a great idea as photographers do tend to take up a lot of time during this part of the wedding, in order to get the best possible shots of yourselves on your big day, plus it gets all your friends and relations relaxed and in the mood for more great photos.

The wedding breakfast itself is also an excellent time for Paul, who can perform comedy close up miracles for your guests at their dinner tables creating a fun and entertaining buzz and ensuring everyone has a great time.

The gap between the wedding breakfast and the evening function is also a perfect chance for Paul to entertain and keep the fun stuff going as guests have to wait around until the evening function begins.

The evening reception is another great time to book Paul. Wowing your guests with fun comedy magic, right up to the first dance.

This is what makes Paul the definitive choice on the Wedding circuit today.

                                                             Paul Roberts Wedding Tips

Before you get started with wedding planning, sit down with your partner to discuss the kind of wedding you'd like to have. Think about the feel and vibe you want to create, and try to visualise the perfect celebration. Booking a Wedding Emcee, showing your guests a good time, minimising stress so they can relax and enjoy the day is always a great way for you to enjoy your day.

It's natural to divulge the finer details of your wedding to your favourite people, but, as far as we're concerned, the less guests know in advance of the big day, the better. You may not realise it, but by offering up information on your first dance song, or how much you're spending on flowers, you're putting your choices up for debate. Keeping quiet about the details of the day helps avoid conflict and upset, especially where the more opinionated people in your circle are concerned, as well as those prone to fretting. Just remember to have a handy one-liner prepared, in case somebody presses you for info. Something like, "We want to keep it a surprise", or "You'll just have to wait and see on the day!" works a treat. Oh, and we should point out, that exceptions should, of course, be made for essential information that impacts your guests' safety or enjoyment of the day!

With so much to think of, planning a wedding can be really stressful. It’s easy to forget to enjoy the journey. Why not make a celebration out of as many planning events as possible. ‘For instance, if you’re having a dress fitting, meet with your entourage for afternoon tea or bubbly afterwards.

Its a great idea to notes when visiting venues or other suppliers. ‘You’re bound to forget the detail by the time you get home.

Assembling a dream team of wedding suppliers is no small task, but the good news is that, once you've done it, you can breathe a heavy sigh of relief! When it comes to suppliers, our preferred approach is as follows: find the right people, communicate your vision, and then leave them to do what they do best! When you're happy with the vendors you've booked, wedding planning becomes infinitely simpler. A good supplier will be able to improvise within your brief, suggest alternatives and problem solve when issues arise. If you feel yourself sliding into micro management mode, remind yourself that they're the experts!

Remember the groom and the males in the bridal party. Consider what the males will be wearing, how they will complement her and her bridesmaids, and the overall aesthetic.

Many couples worry about the wedding breakfast menu, and get caught up in the details of others’ preferences and dietary requirements. I always advise couples to choose a menu they would like to eat and pick out their own favourite dishes.

If your hiring garments, it is vital they are well tried on in advance, in plenty of time before the wedding… and not on the big day of the wedding, when it’s too late to rectify anything, For children this is particularly important, as their size might have changed from when they were originally measured.

I have heard some real horror stories about the cake collapsing just before or during a wedding. Have your cake supplier oversee the set-up of the wedding cake. Then try not to move the cake after it’s been arranged.

‘Uplighters and candles are relatively low-cost effective ways of introducing lighting. Don’t forget to think of outside lighting too – outdoor lanterns are really cheap and look amazing.

Take comfy shoes or flip flops so you can dance the night away without the agony of high heels, Plus they last for years after the wedding, meaning they’ll ‘bring back fond memories’.

This is a special day, meant to celebrate a future together with the person you love. Experts stress the need to keep the day personal. As an added bonus, ‘guests love attending weddings that are individual and will be pleasantly surprised by any unusual or quirky adaptions such as a Wedding Emcee.
