Since almost the first night of opening, I have been lucky enough to be asked, and still remain a regular performer at The Magic Bar Live in Llandudno- www.themagicbarlive.co.uk
Chris and Claire Williams, who run the place alongside the brilliant Sion Bashar and his wife Jen, provide fantastic food and drink, plus a diverse range of amazing entertainment.
With a fully stocked Bar, a fantastic menu and incredible Magic memorabilia decor, The Magic Bar Live is the perfect choice for an incredible evening out.
Wednesday evenings throughout the summer, (and the odd weekend) tends to be our show, Laughs and Wonder. (Recently called Laughs and Wonder 2.0) as we continue to modify and add, never seen before magic routines to the Laughs and Wonder repertoire. This collaboration with Chris and myself, has been a labour of love and we are both very proud of what its become, and we can gaurantee, this show will continue to evolve over the coming years.
The evening generally starts with guest arriving early for food and drinks, getting settled and Chris www.chriswilliamsmagic.com opens the show. (Note that each table has a light on it, for you to order drinks whilst the show is on. The efficient bar staff offer table service for this so no need to get up)
His 45 minute performance is a lot of fun and as well as providing amazing Magic tricks, sleight of hand and Mentalism, he also treats everyone to his amazing juggling skills. Throw all of this in a bowl, mix it up with an added generous helping of comedy, and you have the perfect set of ingredients to start off a fantastic night of entertainment.
(Chris is also a regular performer at Greenwoods, www.greenwoodfamilypark.co.uk where he does multiple shows a day, to huge crowds of people.) and spent many a year, honing his craft, both at Close-Up and Stage Magic at The House Of Illusion in Salou. www.houseofillusion.com
After his performance, we have a 15/20 minute break to reset the stage, re-que the music, lights etc.
Then its my turn.
My part of the evening offers a comedy magic show, which is full of audience participation, music and much much more.
Levitation, Mentalism, magic with borrowed items with some great visual gags thrown in (Did I mention my body popping??? Dont ask!!!). The show builds up to a really fun ending where the whole room joins in!! (I dont want to spoil the surprise ending for you)
Standing up on stage, entertaining and watching people laughing, gasping, joining in, is the greatest thing to behold. I absolutely love what I do. We even have a couple who have visited and watched our show, as well as the other amazing shows. over 100 times. Thank you so much Barry and Gina.
Both Chris and Myself, always come out to personally say thank you to everyone after the show has finished. We both are real people persons and love to hear what our audience thought about the show.
Being a Magician is the greatest job in the world, and when you love your job as much as I do, you never work a day in your life.

Thursday evenings Features the incredible Jay Gatling. www.gatlingmagic.co.uk Jay also performs at Greenwood and is an amazing all around performer, and performs two 45 minute sets of great magic, suitable for all the family. As a very active member of The North Wales Magic Circle, Jay has won many awards for Close-Up Magic, Mentalism and Stage Magic, so you know your in good hands. A very polished performer. This is a highly recommended show to see, and hes a super nice guy too.
Friday evenings offer a very different experience, where you at sat at your table and the magic comes to you. With the team of talented close up performers, from our very own North Wales Magic Circle including Mike Harris, Martin and McCauley Knight (Father and Son team, Dave Hutchinson, Oliver Bell, Paul Hughes Harry and Emma Williams, Paul Ingram, Timbo plus other visiting magicians. An unforgettable and memorable event, makes this a very popular magical evening out. All the performers are members of www.nwalesmagic.co.uk and are all very polished and unique, with their own style of Close-Up Magic.
The evening is another popular night out with guests, so definitely book early to avoid disappointment.
Saturday evenings can vary a lot, with visiting stage performers and occasional Comedy Magic nights from the upcoming Oliver Bell. Oliver works full time at The Magic Bar Live and despite his age, he has treaded the boards a number of times and has his own unique blend of Comedy Magic. (This show is not suitable for the younger ones) hence the title, Unfiltered Magic by Oliver Bell. Oliver was also invited by Blackpool Magicians Club www.blackpoolmagicconvention.com/club/ to perform at the biggest Magic Convention in the world, and to showcase his talents to the visiting Magicians from all over the Planet. Over 4,000 attendees. He definitely delivered, and now he is constantly recognised by his peers.
Finish the week with Movie nights, bands playing, quiz nights and Chris Williams Mystery Box Show and you have the perfect blend for the perfect venue.
This venue can also be booked out privately (subject to availability) and can provide you with incredible close-up or stage magicians, should you wish.
All above events mentioned, do tend to change from time to time as they also offer Workshops, Date Nights, Movie Nights and Seasonal Celebration nights so its always best to check.

The Magic Bar Live is also open during the day in the summer months due to high demand, and offers a great Breakfast as well as other food and drink choices, throughout the days.
There are a few parking places outside after 6pm during the summer season. Daytime parking outside has a 60 minute no return display, and is enforced.
Llandudno itself, does have a few car parks too, but its always best to check opening and closing times.
